Have you ever seen this plant called the Desert Broom? It looks like a cluster of just pure fluff. And when they fall on the ground it looks like the ground is sprouting clouds! In person, they have this hazy almost mystical glow about them as if they weren’t meant to be touched. An aura that is sacred to its surroundings, you would think it was out of a fairy tale.
This made me wonder, what if clouds could grow straight from the ground? They would take root and fully bloom a certain time of year. And when they became thirsty or dry they would water themselves with a light sprinkle. That sprinkle would then be absorbed by the ground, into the roots, just to rain on itself again when needed. A consistent stream of rejuvenation. But what if conditions were too harsh? If winds where too heavy or if someone decided to touch the plant, would a strike of lightening hit?
It is interesting to think about. Earth Clouds. Ground Clouds. Or when we have a daydream, would the Ground Clouds be able to catch it, if one were nearby? Would they be able to feel, see, or grant our daydreams? I think sometimes we shouldn’t think things are so far away that we can never reach them. Like the stars that we wish upon. Are the stars actually too high, like the clouds, too out of reach-like our dreams and wishes? Or are we just not seeing that they are right here on Earth, just within our reach? Like the Ground Cloud.
